We ship indoor houseplants nationwide within the U.S., and we promise your plants will arrive healthy, happy, and ready to thrive in their new home. If not, we’ll make it right.

What Is Our 30-Day Customer Happiness Guarantee?

Our 30-Day Guarantee ensures that you receive your plants in the best possible condition. We understand that transit can be tough on live plants. While minor signs of stress are normal, significant damage is not. If your plants arrive with damage beyond minor transit stress, we’ll provide a resolution under the terms below.

What’s Covered by the Guarantee?

  • Healthy Arrival: Your plants will arrive in healthy condition, ready to brighten your space.

  • Free Replacement: If your plant shows signs of significant damage within 30 days—such as broken stems, severe leaf loss, or other serious issues—we will issue a one-time replacement at no extra cost.

  • Minor Transit Stress (Not Covered): Minor cosmetic stress (for example, a few yellowing leaves or slight wilting) can happen during shipping and is not covered. With proper care, most plants recover as they acclimate (often within up to 1–2 weeks).

How to Make a Claim Under the 30-Day Guarantee

  1. Inspect Your Plants: Please inspect your plants as soon as they arrive.

  2. Contact Us Within 30 Days: 

    Email  support@allaboutplanties.com within 30 days of delivery and include:

    • Your order number

    • Clear photos of the plant(s)

    • A brief description of the issue

  3. We’ll Handle the Rest: 

    If approved, we’ll arrange a replacement to ship in the next safe weather window when needed.

    Refunds are not the standard resolution for live plant claims. Refunds may be considered only in limited cases (for example, when a replacement is not possible).

Subscriptions & Prepaid Plans

Subscription orders are covered by our 30-Day Customer Happiness Guarantee. If a subscription plant arrives with significant damage, we will provide a replacement (shipped in the next safe weather window when needed).
Refunds are not offered for prepaid subscription months already scheduled/fulfilled.

Exclusions from the Guarantee

While we strive to ensure your plants arrive in the best condition, some circumstances are beyond our control. The following are not covered under the 30-Day Guarantee:

  • Improper Care: Damage caused by incorrect watering, lighting, pests after arrival, repotting shock, or neglect.
  • Cold / Weather Damage Without Protection: Cold-related damage is only covered when AAP Cold Weather Shipping Protection is added to the order. If protection is not included, cold/weather damage during transit is not covered (no replacement or refund).
  • Courier Issues: Delays, lost shipments, “marked delivered but missing” or other issues caused by couriers are not covered under the guarantee. Courier companies are best positioned to investigate these situations and provide a resolution.
  • Unprotected Weather Conditions: Orders shipped without selecting the AAP Cold Weather Shipping Protection are excluded from weather-related guarantees.

Helpful Tips to Keep Your Plants Thriving

To ensure your plants continue to thrive after arrival, follow these simple care tips:

  • Unpack Promptly: Remove your plant from the packaging as soon as possible to allow it to acclimate to its new environment.
  • Let It Settle: We recommend keeping your plant in its original pot for a couple of weeks to help it adapt to its new surroundings before considering repotting.
  • Water as Needed: Check the soil moisture level and water your plant according to its specific needs. Be mindful of overwatering, which is a common cause of plant stress.
  • Place in the Right Light: Make sure your plant is placed in an appropriate spot with the right amount of light for its type.
